These pics show the install of the Randels Rack. This is not an easy task to do on a 1966 mustang. Installing the rack to the body is a cake walk. The steering Shaft is a whole different world. The instruction are real brief.
The front suspension is all new components. Plus a ssbc disc brake system. Also the front end has be dropped one inch. Its called the Shelby drop. It lowers the car 0 to 1 inch. But the main reason for the drop is performance. If you go back and look at the brake buster picture you can see the drivers shock tower. Here you will see the A frame holes have been moved.
The rear quarter skin is now completed. The Mustang is going to have a different front end. We have installed a custom Valance in place of the old two piece with bumper. The car will have no front bumper.
We are now into the rust repair of the project. The door and the rear quarter of the car had alot of rust. We are installing new sheet metal on the door and rear quarter.
